These psychological portraits explore the archetype of personalities of the individuals through elemental shapes and forms. The upcoming artist who prefers to remain unanimous, has recently gained track in the art world while having multiple exhibitions across the world.
Through out the last couple years I have been producing 3D sculptures and films exploring these astonishing artwork. My main role was to bring these paintings into the 3D digital space, interpret the shapes and the direction of the artwork, understand the lighting and positioning, balancing and proportioning the shapes to work in unison, but most importantly understand the artwork and the vision behind it, bring the subject’s characteristics to the light from 2D to 3D.
Initially I produced 3D fabrication models for the artist’s exhibitions, bringing the artwork from the canvas to a physical representation for the viewer to see in a multiple perspectives. As work progressed, I had the opportunity to explore the artwork through films. These films delve deeper into the forms and their existence, explores a narrative closely related to the subject with the appropriate motion.
